We got on the phone looking for someone who could help us at 3 00 pm on the Saturday before Christmas. By good luck, we reached Alex at ATG Automotive. He told us to bring it in and he'd at least try to diagnose the problem. We got there and he immediately asked questions and started looking things over. He quickly found the problem, a loose transmission fluid line. He tightened it up, refilled the fluid, saved our trip. He was kind, professional, and knew what he was doing. Thank you, Alex and ATG. We immediately pulled off an exit to find ATG auto there to save us. They promptly took us in, found the problem, and fixed it in less than hour for more than fair price. Everyone there is highly competent, positive, and has excellent customer service. Even the dog is accommodating!! Long story short, this shop will never touch one of my vehicles again. I had them replace the brake booster and master cylinder, and they didn't even bleed the air out of the brake lines after changing those parts. Even worse, they DIDN'T ATTACH THE BRAKE PEDAL to the brake booster. It was just resting on top of the pin, and after I brought the truck back in with complaints about severely reduced braking power, the owner lied to me and made a bunch of stuff up and tried to play it off as if it was my fault or another shops mistake that's causing the problem, but he'd look at it a third time. However after he acknowledged to me that he never bled the air out of the brake lines, I knew he was completely incompetent and would never touch one of my vehicles again. I bled all of the air out of the lines myself (there was a lot) which helped with breaking performance but it was still significantly worse than it used to be. My neighbor who is a very qualified mechanic looked at the truck and immediately noticed the brake pedal wasn't physically attached to the booster. We attached it and the braking performance magically came back.
